“You're right — the beef we use is halal certified, and yes, the products themselves are halal suitable. There's no cross-contamination with non-halal products like pork. The only reason they aren't officially certified as halal is because of the cleaning practices in the facility. The manufacturer uses alcohol-based cleaning rather than soap and water, which doesn't comply with halal certification requirements.”
